Meet The Owner

I started my passion for horses at a very young age. In 2006, my mother and I started Trinity Trotters Equine. My first pony was a pregnant Hackney cross with dropped fetlocks, whose baby is still currently on our farm! Gus Gus! My first rideable horse was a spicy 8 year old standardbred mare, Mabel. She was purchased when I was 8 as well! From pole bending, jumping, and back to barrels, this little mare could do it all… just with egg beater feet haha.

Being a boarding farm, we often came across free horses and my next mount was just that. A 3 year old 16.3 failed Olympic jumper, Dorothy aka Dory. This mare took me deeper into the English world.. with a hidden love for cow sorting. After learning how to do anything under the sun that you can do with a horse I started working with my mom on rehabbing horses and retraining. In 2017, I made my first purchase from a meat buyer at OLEX. He was a stocky little half linger cross who was very quick to learn. In just 6 months, he was off to his new home at Compass Equestrian. He’s now a barn favourite and used as a show pony in the jumper ring.

Although rehabbing and retraining is a rewarding process, I always had a hard time saying goodbye to them. That is when I found coaching/summer camps and instantly fell in love. The satisfaction of how my horses and coaching improves the lives and overall health of equestrians is why I love working with new riders! In my lessons we focus on connection building, basic riding skills and horse welfare. Once you are done my program you will have a solid foundation, and well established safety skills, both on and off your equine partner.

We are all on an endless path of knowledge and your path starts here! Join our team and I will match you up with the best coach and equine partner suited to you. I look forward to meeting all new faces and cannot wait to get back to summer camp next year!
