Proffesionalism & Passion for Horses

Horses are more than just animals; they are a passion and hobby for many people. There’s something special about the connection between humans and horses that has been around for centuries. Whether you’re an experienced rider or just starting out, horses can provide a sense of relaxation, adventure, and fulfillment. We provide a professional and safe environment for you to enjoy.

Trinity Trotters is great. We’ve had horses boarded here for three years. My daughter has been taking lessons here most of that time. The coach has been wonderful. The staff is very patient and knowledgeable and has really helped get our horses healthy and have taught us a lot about horses and their care. The property is large and well maintained. I always recommend TTE for anyone looking for a place to board their horse or take horseback riding lessons. Chris Jackson

I have boarded at Trinity Trotters for more than 5 years and would not dream of going anywhere else. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and caring. The facilities are top notch, 2 indoor arenas both have new footing put in this summer, 4 outdoor arenas, 2 round pens and awesome hacking down to the creek. The welfare of the horses is always put first. I highly recommend Trinity Trotters. Lynn Brammal

Nicola Togo

Nicola Togo

Nicola is a fully insured equestrian coach, camp director, and equine-assisted learning guide dedicated to developing confident, capable riders of all ages and abilities. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience, Nicola brings professionalism, safety, and heart to every lesson.

Her journey with horses began at a young age and quickly grew into something far greater than a childhood passion. In 2006, Nicola co-founded Trinity Trotters Equine alongside her mother, laying the foundation for a program built on horsemanship, integrity, and community.

Nicola’s first pony — a pregnant Hackney cross with dropped fetlocks — taught her compassion, adaptability, and the true meaning of partnership. That pony’s foal, Gus Gus, remains a cherished part of the farm today, symbolizing the roots and longevity of her program.

Her first rideable horse, Mabel — a fiery 8-year-old Standardbred mare — helped shape Nicola into the versatile horsewoman she is today. From pole bending to jumping to barrels, Mabel could do it all (even with “egg-beater feet”), and together they proved that heart and dedication outweigh perfection every time.

Today, Nicola specializes in:

• Beginner rider foundations

• Youth mentorship through equestrian camps

• Confidence-building programs

• Adaptive and inclusive riding experiences for individuals with disabilities

• Safe, structured horsemanship education

Her coaching philosophy blends structured skill development with empathy, encouragement, and strong safety standards. Nicola believes horsemanship is not just about riding — it’s about responsibility, resilience, and connection.

Under her guidance, riders don’t just learn to sit in the saddle — they learn to grow.

Judith Bishop

Judith Bishop

Judith started riding at age 9 and has been passionate about horses ever since. As a junior, she competed in local shows and continued throughout her 20s and 30s. In the 80s, she ran Homecrest Stables, a busy boarding barn that hosted monthly schooling shows in the summer.

Judith continued riding, training young horses, and competing on the Trillium Circuit. In 2002, she began studying Parelli Natural Horsemanship after attending the “Success with Horses Tour” at Hendervale Farm. By 2015, she and Riva earned their “Green String.” Over the past 10 years, Judith has competed in both English and Western Dressage.

After retiring in 2016, Judith focused more on horses and began teaching beginners at Trinity Trotters in 2022. She is now a registered instructor with Equestrian Canada and working toward her Certified Instructor status. More info at judithmbishop.net.

Alyssa

Alyssa

Alyssa’s journey in the horse world did not begin in the show ring; it began in the barn aisle, mucking stalls in exchange for lessons. From those early mornings grew a lifelong passion that carried her through leasing, showing, exercising, training, and ultimately into sales and program development. She has worked in multiple respected Silver and Gold show barns and has successfully managed her own along the way.

As a classroom teacher by profession, stepping into a coaching role felt like a natural extension of who she is. Alyssa is a licensed coach with Equestrian Canada and spends her weekends supporting her students on the local Hunter/Jumper circuits while continuing to actively show her own personal horses. Remaining in the show ring herself allows her to stay current, competitive, and deeply connected to the sport from both the coach’s and rider’s perspective.

Her philosophy is simple: the horse’s wellbeing always comes first. Ribbons are wonderful, but this sport is about partnership, respect, and love for the animal above all else.

Alyssa is passionate about building lasting relationships with both horses and riders. If you are looking for a supportive, knowledgeable program rooted in horsemanship and heart, she would love to connect.
